Travel north to Hanoi, with its atmospheric Old Quarter and tree-lined lakes, before boarding a traditional junk for an overnight cruise through the emerald waters and limestone islands of Ha Long Bay — one of the most breathtaking seascapes on earth.
From Vietnam, journey into Laos and the UNESCO-listed town of Luang Prabang, where saffron-robed monks walk the streets at dawn and the mighty Mekong River flows past golden temples and hillside villages. Your final chapter takes you to Cambodia and the magnificent temple city of Angkor — sunrise over Angkor Wat, the serene stone faces of the Bayon, and the jungle-wrapped ruins of Ta Prohm.

Itinerary
Day 1 — Sunday 19 April | Depart the UK
Depart London on your overnight international flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

Day 2 — Monday 20 April | Arrive Saigon, Vietnam
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Meet and greet at the airport, then transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure to recover from your journey. Welcome Indian dinner this evening.

Day 3 — Tuesday 21 April | Saigon City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Saigon including the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum. Afternoon visit to the bustling Ben Thanh Market.

Day 4 — Wednesday 22 April | Cu Chi Tunnels
Travel out to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels — the vast underground network used during the Vietnam War — for a guided visit and demonstration. Return to Saigon in the afternoon with time at leisure.

Day 5 — Thursday 23 April | Fly to Hanoi
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. On arrival, enjoy a guided city tour taking in the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. Evening walk through the Old Quarter.

Day 6 — Friday 24 April | Ha Long Bay Overnight Cruise
Depart Hanoi for Ha Long Bay. Board your traditional cruise boat and sail among thousands of limestone karsts rising from emerald waters. Enjoy lunch on board, visit a spectacular cave, and watch the sunset from the deck.

Day 7 — Saturday 25 April | Ha Long Bay to Hanoi
Wake to sunrise over the bay. Enjoy a morning of gentle cruising and brunch on board before disembarking and returning to Hanoi. Evening at leisure — perhaps enjoy a traditional water puppet show.

Day 8 — Sunday 26 April | Fly to Luang Prabang, Laos
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Late afternoon climb of Mount Phousi for panoramic sunset views over the Mekong, followed by a stroll through the famous Night Market.

Day 9 — Monday 27 April | Luang Prabang & the Mekong River
Optional early rise to witness the dawn alms-giving ceremony, when hundreds of monks process through the streets. After breakfast, visit the Royal Palace Museum and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong. This afternoon, cruise the mighty Mekong River to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of Buddha images.

Day 10 — Tuesday 28 April | Kuang Si Waterfalls
Excursion to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls, with their tiered turquoise pools and surrounding forest. Visit the bear rescue sanctuary at the entrance, and stop at a traditional weaving village en route back.

Day 11 — Wednesday 29 April | Fly to Siem Reap, Cambodia
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap, gateway to the temples of Angkor. Afternoon at leisure. This evening, enjoy dinner accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance.

Day 12 — Thursday 30 April | Angkor Wat & Angkor Thom
An early start to witness sunrise over Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue with a guided exploration of the walled city of Angkor Thom, the serene stone faces of the Bayon, and the Terrace of the Elephants.

Day 13 — Friday 1 May | Ta Prohm & Banteay Srei
Visit Ta Prohm, the atmospheric jungle temple where giant tree roots grip the ancient stone, followed by the exquisitely carved pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei. Afternoon visit to a floating village on Tonlé Sap Lake.

Day 14 — Saturday 2 May | Depart Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure for last-minute shopping at the Old Market before transferring to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
