Your journey begins in Calgary, before travelling deep into the Canadian Rockies. Explore beautiful Banff National Park, visit iconic Lake Louise, and journey along the legendary Icefields Parkway, surrounded by turquoise lakes, dramatic mountain peaks and magnificent wilderness.

One of the highlights of the Rockies tour is an included Ice Explorer experience on the Athabasca Glacier, taking you onto the famous Columbia Icefield.

Continue west through Yoho National Park, Rogers Pass and Kamloops, before arriving in cosmopolitan Vancouver, where an included city tour introduces you to highlights such as Stanley Park, English Bay, Gastown and Canada Place.

Then it is time to board your ship for a 9-night full-board Alaska cruise.

Sail through the magnificent Inside Passage, surrounded by forest-covered islands, mountains, glaciers and pristine wilderness.

Explore fascinating Alaskan destinations including Sitka, Juneau, Icy Strait Point and Ketchikan, as well as cruising through the spectacular Tracy Arm Fjord.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Tuesday 8 June 2027

UK → Calgary

Depart the UK for Calgary, where your Canadian adventure begins.

On arrival, make your own way to your Calgary hotel and check in for your one-night stay.

The remainder of the day is at leisure, giving you time to relax after your flight or explore Calgary independently.

Overnight: Calgary


Day 2 – Wednesday 9 June

Calgary → Lake Louise → Banff

Enjoy breakfast before travelling west along the Trans-Canada Highway towards the spectacular Canadian Rockies.

Enter Banff National Park, Canada’s oldest national park, and enjoy sightseeing including the famous Banff Springs Hotel and beautiful Bow Falls.

Continue to breathtaking Lake Louise, one of Canada’s most photographed natural attractions.

Later, travel to Banff and check into your hotel.

Optional Experience

Banff Gondola – £55 per person

Travel to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for spectacular panoramic views across Banff and the Bow Valley.

The evening is at leisure, allowing you to explore Banff Avenue and enjoy dinner.

Day 3 – Thursday 10 June

Banff → Jasper & Columbia Icefield → Banff

Today brings one of the highlights of your Canadian Rockies adventure.

Travel along the magnificent Icefields Parkway, surrounded by turquoise lakes, forests, waterfalls and towering snow-capped mountains.

Along the way, admire sights including Bow Lake and Peyto Lake before entering Jasper National Park.

Continue through spectacular scenery alongside the Athabasca River.

Included Experience

Columbia Icefield Ice Explorer Tour

Board a specially designed Ice Explorer vehicle and travel onto the famous Athabasca Glacier.

Later, return to Banff.

Dinner is included this evening.

Overnight: Banff


Day 4 – Friday 11 June

Banff → Kamloops

After breakfast, continue west along the Trans-Canada Highway through some of Western Canada’s most spectacular scenery.

Visit beautiful Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park before travelling through Kicking Horse Pass and the Columbia River Valley.

Continue through Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park.

Stop at Craigellachie, the historic site where the Canadian Pacific Railway’s Last Spike was driven.

Your journey then continues through the Monashee Mountains towards Kamloops.

Dinner is included.

Day 5 – Saturday 12 June

Kamloops → Vancouver

After breakfast, leave Canada’s rugged interior and follow the dramatic Thompson and Fraser Rivers towards the Pacific Coast.

Arrive in Vancouver and enjoy an included sightseeing tour featuring highlights such as:

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before transferring to Canada Place Cruise Terminal.

Board your ship and settle in for your 9-night full-board Alaska cruise.

Relax, explore the ship and enjoy your first evening onboard.

Day 7 – Monday 14 June

Inside Passage

Spend the day cruising through the spectacular Inside Passage.

Enjoy breathtaking views of forest-covered islands, mountains and remote coastal wilderness as your ship sails north towards Alaska.

Sitka, Alaska

Arrive in fascinating Sitka, where Native Alaskan and Russian heritage combine against a spectacular natural backdrop.

Explore independently or choose from the cruise line’s available shore excursions.

Day 9 – Wednesday 16 June

Tracy Arm Fjord & Juneau

Begin the day cruising through the spectacular Tracy Arm Fjord.

Admire towering cliffs, waterfalls, dramatic glaciers and pristine wilderness.

Tracy Arm Fjord: 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Later, arrive in Juneau, Alaska’s picturesque state capital.

Explore the city independently or choose an optional shore excursion.

Juneau: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Day 10 – Thursday 17 June

Icy Strait Point

Today your ship calls at Icy Strait Point, renowned for its beautiful wilderness and authentic Alaskan atmosphere.

Wildlife sightings may include whales, eagles and bears, although sightings can never be guaranteed.

Departure: 4:00 PM

Day 11 – Friday 18 June

Ketchikan

Arrive in colourful Ketchikan, famous for its Native Alaskan heritage, historic waterfront and beautiful surrounding scenery.

Explore independently or enjoy one of the optional excursions available through the cruise line.

Day 12 – Saturday 19 June

Inside Passage

Enjoy another relaxing day at sea as your ship cruises south through the magnificent Inside Passage.

Vancouver → UK

Arrive back into Vancouver.
