Your journey begins with flights from London Heathrow to Mumbai, where you will enjoy a three-night stay in a 4-star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis, giving you time to discover this exciting city at your own pace.
You will then transfer to the cruise port and embark on a two-night all-inclusive cruise from Mumbai to Goa. Enjoy a fantastic onboard experience with multiple restaurants, entertainment, swimming pool, casino, children’s facilities and up to five meals a day. Meals, selected drinks, entertainment, tips and port taxes are included.
Arriving in Goa, enjoy a relaxing beach-hotel stay on a bed and breakfast basis, with time to enjoy the sunshine, beaches and laid-back atmosphere before continuing your journey to Sri Lanka.
Your seven-night escorted Sri Lankan adventure takes you through Negombo, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Colombo, visiting some of the island’s most celebrated cultural, spiritual and scenic attractions. Highlights include Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the Temple of the Tooth, tea plantations, Ramboda Waterfalls, Seetha Amman Temple, Ravana Waterfalls, Colombo sightseeing and a fascinating temple tour.
Sri Lanka is provided on a full board basis with excursions included, allowing you to relax while Maharajah Tours takes care of the arrangements.

London Heathrow → Mumbai
Depart London Heathrow for your overnight international flight to Mumbai.
Day 2 – Friday 20 November
Arrive Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai and transfer to your 4-star hotel.
Check in for your Mumbai stay on a bed and breakfast basis. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or begin exploring this fascinating city.

Days 3–4 – 21–22 November
Mumbai at Leisure
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and spend the days discovering Mumbai at your own pace.
Explore the city’s famous sights, shopping, restaurants and vibrant local culture, or simply relax at the hotel.

Day 5 – Monday 23 November
Mumbai → All-Inclusive Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to Mumbai cruise port and board your two-night all-inclusive cruise to Goa.
Settle into your cabin and begin your voyage across the Arabian Sea.
Your onboard experience includes multiple restaurants offering up to five meals a day, live entertainment, swimming pool, casino and dedicated children’s areas.

Day 6 – Tuesday 24 November
Cruising the Arabian Sea
Enjoy a full day at sea and make the most of the ship’s facilities.
Relax by the pool, enjoy onboard entertainment, dine in the restaurants and enjoy your all-inclusive cruise experience.

Day 7 – Wednesday 25 November
Arrive Goa
Arrive in Goa and transfer from the cruise port to your beach hotel.
Check in and begin your relaxing Goa beach break on a bed and breakfast basis.

Days 8–11 – 26–29 November
Goa Beach Break
Enjoy your time at leisure in Goa.
Relax on the beach, enjoy the hotel facilities, explore the local area or discover more of Goa’s culture, cuisine and coastline.

Day 12 – Monday 30 November
Goa → Colombo
Transfer to the airport for your flight from Goa to Colombo, travelling via Delhi or Hyderabad.
Continue your journey towards Sri Lanka and the escorted touring section of your holiday.
Day 13 – Tuesday 1 December
Arrival in Sri Lanka – Negombo
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to Negombo.
Check in to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day relaxing after your journey.
Enjoy the peaceful beachside atmosphere of Negombo.

Day 14 – Wednesday 2 December
Negombo → Pinnawala → Kandy
After breakfast, travel towards Kandy.
En route, visit the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can see elephants being cared for in a beautiful natural setting.
Continue to Kandy and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by visits to a traditional Batik Factory and Gem Museum.
In the evening, enjoy a colourful Kandy Cultural Dance Show.

Day 15 – Thursday 3 December
Kandy Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore some of Kandy’s most fascinating cultural and historical sites.
Visit Seetha Kotuwa, traditionally associated with Sita, followed by the ancient temples of Gadaladeniya, Lankathilake and Embekke, renowned for their architecture and craftsmanship.
Return to your hotel and relax.

Day 16 – Friday 4 December
Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, travel into Sri Lanka’s beautiful hill country towards Nuwara Eliya.
Visit the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple and admire the spectacular Ramboda Waterfalls.
Continue to a traditional Tea Factory and Plantation, where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s world-famous tea industry.
Later, enjoy the scenery around Gregory Lake.
Overnight: Nuwara Eliya
Day 17 – Saturday 5 December
Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the sacred Seetha Amman Temple and the beautiful Hakgala Botanical Garden.
Continue with a sightseeing tour featuring the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, Pink Post Office and Victoria Park.
Later, visit the legendary Ravana Cave Temple and picturesque Ravana Waterfalls.

Day 18 – Sunday 6 December
Nuwara Eliya → Colombo → Negombo
After breakfast, travel towards Negombo via Colombo.
Visit Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, one of Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist temples.
Continue with a Colombo city tour featuring Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, Galle Face Green and Pettah Market.
Continue to Negombo and check in to your hotel.

Day 19 – Monday 7 December
Negombo Temple Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a fascinating temple tour visiting Manavari Temple, Munneswaram Temple and Murugan Temple.
Spend the remainder of the day relaxing or exploring Negombo at your own pace.

Day 20 – Tuesday 8 December
Colombo → London Heathrow
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport.
Our local representative will assist with your departure arrangements before you board your return flight to London Heathrow.
